Mothers of Jesus | Ruth
• Nicholas Saltas • Series: The Mothers Of Jesus
Ruth, once a destitute immigrant in a foreign land, rose above the traps of her circumstances—choosing selflessness over selfishness, faithfulness over fatalism, and flexibility over stubbornness. By God’s grace, she was redeemed and grafted into the family line of Jesus, becoming His great-grandmother. Her story reminds us to shift our focus from what disqualifies us to the One who qualifies us—our God and Father. Just as Ruth was redeemed, we too are called to be redeemers and restorers, with our confidence and hope resting firmly on what Jesus has accomplished for us.
